One of our young tigers is doing great things on the basketball court. Lincoln is 9 years old and has been chosen in an UNDER 12s rep side for basketball for the South West Sydney ROAR. Lincoln has only been playing basketball for 2 years. His coach sees the benefit and similarities of Basketball to AFL. "A lot of the skills are transferable" he said. "We encourage Lincoln to keep playing AFL and it will help with his basketball".
A Miami Heat fan, with favorite player Jimmy Butler, Lincoln will often hide in his headphones and shoot hoops waiting for the day he is tall enough to dunk on his brother! Dreams of hoops or goals, Lincoln is striding on and making every goal (or hoop) count. We couldn't be prouder of one of our Tiger family. Well done Lincoln and keep up the good work.
